You are required to attend Tuesday night’s training in Uniform. Failure to wear your uniform may result in you being sent home. The Uniform for weekend camps is Field Training Uniform (FTU's). If you do not have them, suitable civilian clothing is acceptable. Uniform and Administration will be on the 13th of September bring anything that needs exchanging at this time and we will try to replace it or order a new one.
“Special Training Days” will take place again this year. These activities will be inexpensive, easy to get to and can be done on a Tuesday evening. These activities and Weekend Camps will be available to Cadets who attend regularly in uniform and whose performance is up to standard. Some Thursdays will be devoted to Sports and Marksmanship.
Weekend Camps are planned throughout the year and incorporate all Star Levels. It is important that you attend these weekends as aspects of your training can only be done at this time.
We will plan a year-end activity and a trip in June 2017. The trip will be an invitation only, based on your attendance, fundraising events support, enrolment date and overall performance throughout the year. We are planning for a cultural trip to Canada’s Wonderland or Ottawa.
I look forward to your return in September and hope you have had a safe and happy summer. A copy of the outline of our Training Plan will be posted on the web site for planning purposes.
