Captain A. Joseph Langlois, CD
Captain Langlois was born in London Ontario in 1945, but has spent most of his life in the Windsor area.  He attended St.Francis and St. Gabriel Separate Schools and Assumption and Vincent Massey Secondary Schools graduating in 1963.  He received his Certificate in Data Processing from St. Clair College and his Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Windsor in 1961 and recently completed his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree at Lawrence Technological University. 
Captain Langlois joined the Windsor Regiment (RCAC) in 1963 as a Trooper.  He was promoted to Corporal in 1966.  After completion of his Sr. NCO Course, he was promoted to Sergeant in 1971 and to Warrant Officer in 1973.  In 1978 he was the Troop Warrant Officer for the Windsor Regiment's fly-over troop that was attached to the RCD in Germany during the fall exercise period.  He was awarded the Canadian Forces Decoration (CD) in 1975 and the Queen's Silver Jubilee medal in 1976.  He received his commission as Lieutenant in 1979 and over the course of the next 17 years, he held all the primary positions in the Regiment as he trained and qualified for successively higher ranks - Troop Leader, Squadron and Regimental Operations Officer, Adjutant, Squadron Battle Captain and Squadron Commander of both tank and Recce squadrons.  He also served as the Officer commanding Headquarters Squadron.  He was promoted to Major in 1987. 

He transferred to the Elgin Regiment in 1991 as the Recce Squadron Commander until 1994 when he transferred back to the Windsor Regiment.  Captain Langlois graduated from the Militia command and Staff course in July of 1996.  He was promoted to Lieutenant-Colonel and appointed Commanding Officer of the Windsor Regiment from October 1996 to October 2000.  He joined the Cadet Instructor Cadre in 2003 and took Command of 1112 RCACC.
Captain Langlois currently resides in Windsor with his wife Pamela and they have two children, David and Brianne.  He is employed as an Information Systems Specialist with the Ford Motor Company of Canada.
Captain PJ Ryan, CD

Captain Patrick J Ryan, CD
Captain Ryan was born in Windsor in 1956. He joined 1086 Walkerville Army Cadet Corps (The Essex and Kent Scottish) in 1969 and progressed through the ranks until becoming the Cadet Commanding Officer in 1973. In 1974, Captain Ryan joined The Essex and Kent Scottish Regiment as an Officer under the Reserve Officer University Training Program (ROUTP). In 1975 he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and served as a platoon commander. Upon promotion to Captain, he was appointed Adjutant and later served as a Company Commander. In 1980, Captain Ryan became a Staff Officer with Windsor Militia District Headquarters and served as SO3 Personnel, SO3 Administration and SO2 Training. He returned to the Unit as a Major where he has served as a Company Commander and Deputy Commanding Officer. In September of 1992, he was promoted to Lieutenant-Colonel and appointed Commanding Officer of The Essex and Kent Scottish Regiment. He served four years as the Commanding Officer until retiring and transferring to the Supplemental Reserves in May of 1996.
In 2003, Captain Ryan became a volunteer with 1112 RCACC when his youngest son joined the Cadet Corps. In May 2005 he transferred from the Supplemental Reserves to the Cadet Instructor Cadre (CIC) as a Captain and was appointed as the Deputy Commanding Officer of the Corps.
Captain Ryan is a graduate of the University of Windsor, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications Studies.

He is employed by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Windsor as a Radio Technician-Associate Producer. Married to Catherine, they have three sons; Patrick (24), Brendan (20), and Makenzie (17). They reside in Belle River.
