   Fund Raising Events

In order to provide the cadets with a fully enriching program with scheduled outings, camps, and combats we will hold fund raising events throughout the year. These events are organized by the parents committee however all cadets are expected to participate.

Our first event will kick off with a Car Wash and BBQ on September 19, 2009. It will be held in the Sobey’s parking lot on Amy Croft drive in Tecumseh. All cadets should report to the parking lot at 9:30 am the event will go until 2:00 pm. All parents are welcome to stay and assist. If your cadet can not stay all day some time dedicated towards the event will be appreciated.

Cadets should wear their grey cadet T-shirts if they do not own one than wear a plain grey T-shirt. Please bring any car wash supplies they may have with them. This could include car wash mitts, buckets and hoses. Lunch will be provided.

Our next event will be a Tag Day, October 2, 3. Details to follow.

 

Parents Committee Requires New Members

The parents committee is responsible for organizing and implementing fund raising events, the monitoring and distribution of Funds and assisting with events for the cadets.

This year we have openings on our executive committee and if you are interested in filling one of the vacancies please attend our first meeting. For more information regarding the committee positions please contact Colleen Kelly.

We will be holding meetings at the Legion on the last Thursday of every month. Our next meeting is scheduled for September 24, 2009 @ 6:30.  All parents are welcome to attend.
